Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced **Kubernetes Lead / Cloud Infrastructure Architect** with strong hands\-on expertise in Kubernetes platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, on\-premises/private\-cloud environments, and enterprise infrastructure design.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing production Kubernetes clusters, along with strong knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, networking, security, and disaster recovery.

This role focuses primarily on **Kubernetes and infrastructure architecture**, including designing scalable, secure, resilient, and cost\-effective enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Kubernetes architecture across cloud, hybrid, and on\-premises environments.
• Lead Kubernetes cluster design, sizing, deployment, configuration, and production operations.
• Design highly available Kubernetes environments, including control\-plane and worker\-node architecture.
• Implement Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, DNS, load balancing, and persistent storage.
• Define Kubernetes security standards, RBAC, secrets management, network policies, and platform hardening.
• Design infrastructure solutions covering compute, storage, networking, scalability, and disaster recovery.
• Assess AWS infrastructure dependencies and recommend portable on\-premises/private\-cloud alternatives.
• Develop infrastructure architecture documents, HLDs, LLDs, and reference architecture diagrams.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, GitOps, automated deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Establish monitoring, logging, observability, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting processes.
• Conduct technical workshops, architecture reviews, and proof\-of\-concept validations.
• Optimize cloud and infrastructure costs through effective capacity planning and resource utilization.

Mandatory Skills \& Experience

• **8–10 years of overall IT experience** as per the hiring requirement.
• **5\+ years of hands\-on Kubernetes experience** in production environments.
• Strong experience designing and operating enterprise Kubernetes clusters.
• Hands\-on experience with **on\-premises/private\-cloud Kubernetes architecture**.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes networking, storage, security, autoscaling, and HA/DR.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Linux administration, networking, load balancing, and infrastructure security fundamentals.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Experience in infrastructure capacity planning, workload sizing, and cost optimization.
• Ability to prepare HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership, and problem\-solving skills.

Good to Have

• OpenShift, Rancher, VMware, Nutanix, Tanzu, or bare\-metal Kubernetes.
• Helm, Argo CD, Flux, GitOps, and service mesh.
• Prometheus, Grafana, and enterprise observability tools.
• Cloud\-native and hybrid cloud migration experience.
• Experience reducing AWS\-native dependencies.
• CKA, CKAD, CKS, or cloud architecture certifications.
• Industrial IoT, building\-management, or edge\-platform experience.

Work Location \& Contract Details

• **Chennai / Bangalore:** Hybrid working model preferred.
• **Other Locations:** Remote opportunities may be considered for suitable PAN India candidates.
• **Contract Duration:** 6 Months
