L1 Developer - Network Protocol (Contract)

2\-8 yrs of relevant experience

Strong expertise in LTE/NR PHY Layer, DSP, RF, Antennas

Expertise in modulation, coding (FEC, Low Density Parity Check/ LDPC, Turbo decoding), MIMO, beamforming, Complex I/Q sample processing, FFT / IFFT, Channel estimation \& equalization, Modulation / demodulation

Proficiency in C/C\+\+, MATLAB, real time embedded systems, FPGA/ASIC/GPU/ based programming

Experience with fronthaul (CPRI/eCPRI) and L1 acceleration

PHY/RF software development experience

Additional years of driving delivery of 4G/5G L1 programs

• *Roles \& Responsibilities**

Design and implement LTE/NR PHY algorithms and procedures

Review and Mentor high performance L1 teams towards delivery excellence in the following:

Optimize L1 for latency, throughput, and CPU/DSP/GPU/FPGA utilization

Interface with Radio/RF, L2, and fronthaul subsystems

Debug PHY issues using logs, IQ capture, and lab equipment

Ability to drive large scale 4G/5G L1 product development, sustenance and customer support programs involving multiple variants of eNodeBs/gNodeBs in various forms including vRAN/ORAN/custom

Ability to communicate with senior levels of internal and external stakeholders
