- Lead and mentor a team of MCU test engineers/technicians.
- Oversee testing of:
+ Motor control algorithms (FOC, vector control, torque control).
+ Inverter switching logic \& power electronics behaviour.
+ PWM generation, modulation schemes, current \& voltage control.
+ Thermal performance under various load conditions.
- Coordinate dyno testing, endurance testing, and stress testing of MCU.
- Ensure proper setup of HV/LV test benches, instrumentation, and safety compliance.
- *3\. Technical Responsibilities**
- Validate torque accuracy, response time, efficiency, thermal behaviour, and fault response.
- Execute safety tests for HV systems, isolation checks, short\-circuit behaviour, and de\-rating algorithms.
- Test communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, diagnostics, UDS services).
- Work with tools such as CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, ETAS, dSPACE systems, PLECS.
- Analyse log files, switching waveforms, and motor control signals using oscilloscopes and data loggers.
- *4\. Issue Tracking \& Reporting**
- Identify defects and log issues (Jira, ALM, or internal tools).
- Drive RCA activities with software, hardware, and system design teams.
- Prepare reports: performance summaries, issue dashboards, test coverage, compliance reports.
- Track KPIs such as defect detection rate, test execution progress, and validation completeness.
- *5\. Cross\-functional Collaboration**
* Work closely with
+ Software development teams (control algorithms, embedded SW).
+ Power electronics hardware team.
+ Motor design team.
+ Vehicle integration team.
+ Functional safety and reliability teams.
