As a Senior Conversion Designer, you’re expected to manage your work independently, make strong design and conversion decisions, and help raise the quality of the department.
You’re not just executing tasks. You’re thinking critically about what each client needs, identifying opportunities to improve performance, and helping other designers sharpen their work. You’re trusted to take a design request from concept to completion with minimal oversight, while collaborating with other departments when needed.
This role is for someone who has developed strong judgment, works well independently, and can support junior designers without needing to formally manage the team.
- *Independent Design Ownership**
- Own landing page, popup, and campaign creative work from brief to final delivery.
- Translate client goals, campaign strategy, and audience needs into high\-performing visual experiences.
- Make thoughtful decisions around layout, messaging hierarchy, trust\-building elements, visual flow, and calls\-to\-action.
- Balance brand consistency with conversion\-focused improvements.
- Proactively identify design, UX, or conversion issues that may be limiting account performance.
- *Conversion Strategy \& Optimization**
- Review landing pages and creative assets with a performance mindset.
- Recommend improvements based on conversion data, user experience, campaign context, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with Paid Media Managers and Marketing Strategists to improve lead generation outcomes.
- Support testing ideas for landing pages, popups, creative variations, offers, or page structure.
- Help evolve internal best practices as tools, platforms, and AI capabilities change.
- *Technical \& Platform Execution**
- Build, troubleshoot, and optimize landing pages across approved platforms.
- Apply working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS tools, integrations, and domain/DNS\-related setup when needed.
- Ensure pages are properly optimized for mobile, speed, usability, and campaign tracking requirements.
- Support more complex design builds or technical requests that require stronger judgment and experience.
- Use AI, automation, and modern design tools responsibly to improve production quality and efficiency.
- A proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of design principles and typography.
- An understanding of conversion optimization principles and experience in creating designs that drive user engagement and action.
- Digital marketing knowledge to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and optimize design strategies for improved conversion rates.
- A strong creative vision and ability to generate ideas while being receptive to feedback and collaboration.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills .
- A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with an emphasis on digital marketing materials and examples of successful conversion\-focused designs.
- Have a strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to optimize design and improve page functionality.
- A remote working environment with flexible hours.
- A starting contract between $700 \- $1,000 CAD/Month
