• *Job Description**

Security and Hardening specialist

• *1\. Security Policy Design \& Enforcement**

• Design, implement, and manage **Azure Policies and platform security configurations**
• Define and enforce **security baselines and hardening standards** across cloud environments
• Ensure alignment with **industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS benchmarks)**
• Continuously monitor policy compliance and remediate deviations

• *2\. Cloud Security \& Platform Hardening**

• Harden cloud environments across **networking, compute, storage, and identity layers**
• Implement **secure deployment patterns and guardrails** using Azure\-native capabilities
• Work on **Identity and Access Management (IAM)** policies and least\-privilege access enforcement
• Secure modern cloud architectures including **microservices, containers, and PaaS services**

• *3\. Security Tools \& Vulnerability Management**

• Deploy and manage **security tools** including: Vulnerability scannersStatic and dynamic code analysis toolsIDS/IPS systemsFirewalls and endpoint protection solutions
• Identify, assess, and remediate **security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations**
• Integrate security tools into **CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines**

• *4\. Governance, Compliance \& Risk Management**

• Support implementation of **cloud security governance frameworks**
• Map policies to compliance standards (e.g., **NIST, ISO, internal controls**)
• Conduct **risk assessments** and recommend mitigation strategies
• Assist in audits and compliance reporting activities

• *5\. Stakeholder Collaboration \& Enablement**

• Collaborate with **engineering, platform, DevOps, and security teams**
• Translate security requirements into **technical policies and controls**
• Provide **guidance and best practices** for secure cloud adoption
• Participate in **cross\-functional initiatives** to strengthen security posture

• Drive **automation of security controls and policy enforcement**
• Monitor emerging threats and continuously improve **security posture**
