- *Project Specific Skills:**
Expert knowledge in Wireless \- RF design \& wireless network design for large enterprise with branches. Troubleshooting WLAN issues.
Experience in leading large WLAN migration projects \& complex PDI \& optimization engagements
- Technologies \- WiFi6, Python, Netconf/API
- Hands\-on Product Knowledge \- Cisco Wi\-Fi 6 access points, Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers and DNAC
Leadership / Autonomy
- Receives limited supervision. Receives little instruction on routine work and new assignments. Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Translates team goals into work assignments.
- Being a trusted advisor \& mentor. Emphasis is on the facilitation of processes, solutions.
- *Role Specific Responsibilities:**
Works extensively with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions
Takes leadership role in execution of delivery projects
Improves solutions and methods developed in the field for use to the wider practice (knowledge sharing)
Creates, reviews and approves project deliverables e.g. Design recommendations, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Implementation/Change Management Plans
Builds and/or leverage test environments as required to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues
Leverages software skills and tools to configure, deploy and/or troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions. Contributes in the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures).
Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Assures proper and quick resolution of complex customer problems across an appropriate range of technologies.
- *Scope:**
Collaborates with other Consulting Engineers in appropriate technology domains to ensure optimal use of resources to meet customer needs
Typically interacts with individual contributors, managers, and customers regularly
Provides input to Sales team in creating and demonstrating technology solutions to customers
Engages with sales teams on pre\-sales activities
- *Complexity:**
Solves highly complex problems and is able to identify viable and often innovative options, and uses analytical skills and judgement to recommend an appropriate solution
- *Expertise:**
Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 5\-8 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree strongly preferred.

Areas of responsibility
Triaging and resolution of tickets\-Provide resolution to high priority incident (P2\) tickets, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure timely closure.
SLA Monitoring\-Ensure SLA compliance for assigned technology areas and ensure proactive escalation management.
Performance tuning and optimization\-Analyse system performance data, coordinate findings on system behaviour, and support capacity planning initiatives to enhance overall system efficiency.
Perform system Improvements\-Create mitigation measures to evaluate new tools or improvements by collaborating with technical teams.
Handling disaster recovery\-Perform security assessments and recovery drills, and implement necessary controls to ensure compliance with established security standards.
Reporting and stakeholder engagement\-Participate in weekly and monthly service review meetings, provide updates on performance and issues, and support stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and service alignment.
Team Management\-Collaborate with team members to resolve open tickets and service requests.
Knowledge base and continuous learning Contribute to updating SOPs, knowledge articles and maintaining the knowledge repository for the purpose of future ticket resolution.
