Capacity Management Process Ownership . Own and manage the Capacity Management lifecycle aligned with ITIL best practices . Define policies, standards, and governance for capacity planning . Ensure alignment between business demand and IT supply 2\. Capacity Planning \& Forecasting . Analyze current resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage, network) . Forecast future capacity requirements based on trends and business growth . Develop capacity plans for short\-term and long\-term horizons 3\. Performance Monitoring \& Optimization . Monitor system performance and utilization across infrastructure and applications . Identify bottlenecks and performance issues . Recommend tuning, scaling, or optimization strategies 4\. Optimize resource utilization and cloud spend . Ensure cost\-effective infrastructure planning 7\. Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) . Identify opportunities for automation and predictive capacity planning . Improve capacity management processes and tools . Support performance tuning initiatives Key Skills \& Competencies Technical Skills . Strong knowledge of ITIL (Capacity, Availability, Incident, Problem Management) . Experience with monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, Nagios . Experience with ITSM tools like: ServiceNow . Experience in performance engineering **Your future duties and responsibilities** Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and maintain the Capacity Management process and plan in alignment with ITIL best practices. * Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance and utilization of IT infrastructure components including servers, storage, network, and applications. * Forecast future capacity requirements based on business growth, demand patterns, and technology trends. * Identify capacity bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies, and recommend tuning, optimization, or upgrade actions. * Produce and maintain the Capacity Plan, including current usage, trends, projections, and recommendations for investment. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams (Infrastructure, Application, Service Delivery, Architecture) to align capacity with service levels and SLAs. * Support major change, project, and transition activities by providing capacity impact assessments and sizing inputs. * Drive cost optimization initiatives by right\-sizing infrastructure and eliminating underutilized resources. * Maintain and enhance capacity dashboards, KPIs, and management reports for stakeholders. * Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in capacity management, cloud, and performance engineering. Must\-Have Skills: * Strong experience in IT Capacity Management, Performance Management, or Infrastructure Operations. * Hands\-on experience with capacity and performance monitoring tools such as BMC TrueSight, CA Capacity Manager, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, or equivalent. * Solid understanding of ITIL processes, particularly Capacity, Availability, and Service Level Management (ITIL v3/v4 certification preferred). * Working knowledge of servers (Windows/Linux), storage, network, virtualization (VMware/Hyper\-V), and database platforms. * Strong analytical skills with experience in trend analysis, forecasting, and workload modelling using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. * Experience producing capacity plans, executive reports, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders. * Excellent problem\-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Good\-to\-Have Skills: * Experience with cloud capacity management on AWS, Azure, or GCP (right\-sizing, reserved instances, cost optimization). * Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes capacity planning. * Scripting/automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Shell for data extraction and reporting. * Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost management tools (CloudHealth, Apptio, Azure Cost Management). * Familiarity with AIOps, predictive analytics, or machine learning approaches applied to capacity forecasting.
