We are seeking a **Lead Architect** to drive architecture strategy, platform modernization, and enterprise transformation across eBay’s Customer Support Technology ecosystem.
This is a senior individual contributor (IC) role responsible for defining technical vision, architecture standards, and modernization roadmaps for business\-critical platforms used globally. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Security, Data, and AI teams to build scalable, cloud\-native, API\-driven, and AI\-enabled solutions.

We're looking for a technical leader who can simplify complex problems, define scalable architecture strategies, and drive modernization across a broad enterprise ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business understanding and is passionate about building modern, scalable, and maintainable platforms that improve customer and teammate experiences at global scale.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future architecture of eBay's customer support platforms. Your work will directly influence platform modernization, AI adoption, enterprise integration strategy, operational efficiency, and the technology roadmap supporting millions of customer interactions worldwide.
