- *Role Description:**
The CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) platform plays a critical role in enabling secure, scalable, and seamless identity services across enterprise applications, including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and compliance with global security standards.
We are looking for a highly qualified expert Lead Automation Quality Engineer (QE) to drive quality engineering strategy, shape automation and non\-functional testing practices, and mentor QE teams across CIAM services, with a strong emphasis on UI, API, and data testing excellence.

- *Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:**
- Define and drive the overall QE strategy, automation roadmap, and quality standards for CIAM platforms
- Act as a senior individual contributor while mentoring engineers and influencing quality practices across teams
- Design and architect enterprise\-grade test automation frameworks (UI, API, data and service\-level testing)
- Ensure strong coverage across UI, API, and data validation testing (mandatory focus areas)
- Implement contract testing and stubbing/mocking strategies to ensure robust service validation
- Ensure end\-to\-end quality governance across microservices, APIs, data flows, and identity protocols (OAuth, SAML, LDAP)
- Partner with product, architecture, and engineering leadership to ensure quality\-first delivery
- Define quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks across CIAM services
- Drive shift\-left and shift\-right testing practices across CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Validate cloud adoption and migration efforts across AWS/Azure environments
- Establish observability\-driven quality engineering using Datadog and Splunk
- Champion test reliability, scalability, and maintainability across distributed systems
- Ensure continuous integration of automated tests into pipelines with high coverage and fast feedback
- Act as a quality champion, influencing engineering practices and stakeholder decisions
**Essential Skills \& Experience**
- 10\+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Automation Testing
- Strong hands\-on expertise in Python, Java, or TypeScript
- Proven experience designing scalable automation frameworks (BDD, TDD, hybrid)
- Deep expertise in UI \& API automation (Selenium, Playwright, Pytest, Allure – mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of data testing, including SQL, data validation, and data pipeline verification
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP APIs and contract testing
- Experience with stubbing/mocking and service virtualization (e.g., WireMock, Pact)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), containerization (Docker), orchestration (K8s)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud migration testing
- Experience with quality/observability tools such as SonarQube, Datadog, Splunk
- Strong understanding of CIAM domain (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and test management tools (Jira, TestRail)
- *Desired Skills:**
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, K6\)
- Experience in large\-scale identity or security platforms
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and security testing practices
- Exposure to accessibility testing standards (WCAG)
- Strong mentoring, collaboration, and partner communication skills
