• Summary: Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Software Engineer II with 5–8 years of data engineering experience to build and produce data flows powering advanced project solutions, owning ETL/ELT pipelines, DocumentDB/MongoDB operational stores, and AWS\-based integrations linking Snowflake to agentic pricing workflows.*

• The Opportunity: · Own end\-to\-end ingestion, transformation, and curation of OCR, embedding, and contract analysis outputs; land and normalize them in AWS storage and design efficient DocumentDB/MongoDB collections. · Design and implement the Claims ETL pipeline on AWS (EMR, Glue, Spark, Lambda, Step Functions), transforming Snowflake data into canonical JSON with idempotency, retries, and DLQs. · Model schemas and data contracts for claims, contract pricing, and agent outputs with proper versioning and lineage. · Integrate normalized claims and pricing data into agentic pricing orchestration/services and persist priced outputs for audit and analytics. · Implement observability, data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, pytest), and enforce security (IAM, KMS, VPC, secrets). · Partner with AI/ML and platform engineers on throughput, SLAs, and deployment on the ASAP.ai platform. · Design and build internal APIs (FastAPI, Flask, API Gateway) to expose claims, contracts, and pricing artifacts.*

• What you need: · 5–8 years of experience in data engineering with production ETL/ELT on AWS. · B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering. · Strong expertise in Python and SQL, alongside workflow orchestration using Airflow or Step Functions. · Solid understanding of data quality patterns, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. · Strong collaboration skills to work alongside AI/ML, platform, and cross\-functional engineering teams.*

• Required Skills: · ETL/ELT Pipeline Development \& Orchestration (Airflow, AWS Step Functions, EMR, Glue, Spark) · Cloud Data Warehousing \& Databases: Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning) \& DocumentDB / MongoDB (collections, indexing, aggregation) · Programming \& Querying: Python and SQL · Cloud Infrastructure \& Storage: AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR/Glue, API Gateway) · Data Quality \& Observability: Great Expectations, pytest, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry · DevOps \& CI/CD: GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker*

• Desired Skills: · Experience integrating OCR and embedding pipelines and curating unstructured data outputs · Agentic/LLM workflow integration experience (structured I/O, schema guards, A2A/MCP paradigms) · API development using FastAPI, Flask, or GraphQL (OpenAI specs, RBAC, pagination) · Redis for caching or operational state management*

• Qualification: · B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.*
