Senior SAC\-Planning Developer (SAP Analytics Cloud \- Planning)

Work Location: Bengaluru, India

Role Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Senior / Lead SAC\-P Developer to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise planning solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role will be responsible for driving end\-to\-end SAC Planning implementations, mentoring junior developers, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high\-quality planning and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1\. SAC Planning Architecture \& Model Leadership

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of SAC planning models aligned with enterprise requirements

Define and govern hierarchies, dimensions, and measures across planning use cases

Establish and manage versioning strategies (Actuals, Forecast, Budget)

Ensure scalability, standardization, and adherence to best practices

2\. Development \& Delivery of SAC Components

Oversee and contribute to development of SAC Stories and input templates

Lead design and build of visualization dashboards and analytical reports

Drive backend and UI enhancements for global reporting solutions

Ensure high performance and usability across SAC deliverables

3\. Advanced Calculations \& Data Actions

Design and implement complex calculation logic within SAC models

Lead development of Data Actions to automate planning processes

Optimize performance and ensure accuracy across planning scenarios

Establish development standards and conduct quality reviews

4\. Global Reporting \& Enhancements

Manage and deliver global SAC report enhancements and changes

Coordinate backend data model changes and UI updates

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions

Drive continuous improvement across planning and reporting processes

5\. Data Integration \& Ecosystem Alignment

Architect and oversee data integration from source systems using APIs and flat\-file uploads

Ensure data consistency, integrity, and governance across SAC environments

Collaborate with upstream systems and integration teams to resolve issues

Align SAC solutions with Client and analytics strategy

6\. Leadership \& Stakeholder Engagement

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams

Act as the primary point of contact for SAC Planning initiatives

Partner with global stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Operations

Drive prioritization, delivery planning, and execution of initiatives

Required Skills \& Qualifications

Extensive hands\-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning)

Strong expertise in planning model design, hierarchies, and dimensions

Proven experience in SAC Story development, dashboards, and reporting

Advanced knowledge of Data Actions, calculations, and scripting in SAC

Experience with data integration (APIs, flat files, ETL processes)

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to deliver in a global, cross\-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in enterprise\-wide planning and global reporting implementations

Familiarity with SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere, etc.)

Exposure to financial and operational planning processes

Experience managing onshore/offshore delivery models

Engineering Graduates with 6 \- 9 Years of experience
