Job Title: System Analyst \- API \& Integrations

Experience

4\-12\+ years of overall IT experience with strong focus on system analysis, API\-based integrations, and enterprise application delivery.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with strong API and integration knowledge to act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and development teams. The role requires deep analytical capability, hands\-on experience with RESTful APIs, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable system and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

System \& Requirement Analysis

Engage with business, product owners, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.

Translate business needs into system requirements, functional specifications, and API contracts.

Perform gap analysis between current and target\-state systems and recommend solutions.

API \& Integration Focus

Analyze, define, and document RESTful API requirements, including request/response models, validations, error handling, and performance expectations.

Support API design reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and architectural guidelines.

Assess downstream and upstream system impacts for API and integration changes.

Collaborate with architects and developers on microservices and integration patterns.

Delivery \& Collaboration

Act as a liaison between business, development, QA, and architecture teams to ensure requirement clarity and traceability.

Support system testing, integration testing, and UAT, ensuring requirements are correctly implemented.

Clarify functional issues during development and testing phases and drive resolution.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews) as a senior functional authority.

Documentation \& Governance

Create and maintain system design documents, interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and process flows.

Ensure requirements traceability from business needs through development and testing.

Support compliance, audit, and governance needs where applicable.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience in System Analysis and Enterprise Application Design

API technologies: RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, API contracts

Experience with integration and microservices\-based architectures

Understanding of authentication/authorization concepts (OAuth, tokens, etc.)

Familiarity with databases (RDBMS and/or NoSQL) and data modeling

Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models

Ability to read and understand application logs, API specs, and high\-level code flows

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem\-solving mindset

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Proactive in identifying requirement gaps and solution risks

Strong documentation and presentation skills
