UST is hiring a Lead I - ML Engineer (Python + AI Developer) for locations in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and Trivandrum. The candidate must possess extensive experience with Django or Flask frameworks and a solid grasp of AI/ML development. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining backend applications using Python, Django, or Flask; building RESTful APIs, including those with AI functionalities; developing, training, integrating, and deploying AI/ML models; working with technologies such as LLMs and NLP for data-driven AI; and writing clean, reusable, testable, and efficient Python code. Additionally, the role involves optimizing system performance. This lead position demands the ability to handle complex engineering challenges and produce reliable, intelligent backend systems for enterprise use.
