Lead I - Software Engineering

• *Role description**

Key Responsibilities • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical designs. • Develop, modify, and maintain applications using IBM Pacbase. • Generate and maintain COBOL programs from Pacbase repositories. • Design and develop online transactions, batch processes, reports, and interfaces. • Perform application maintenance, incident resolution, and defect remediation. • Provide L2/L3 production support and root\-cause analysis. • Conduct unit, integration, regression, and UAT support testing. • Participate in Pacbase modernization and migration initiatives. Required Technical Skills • IBM VisualAge Pacbase • COBOL • JCL • CICS • DB2 • VSAM • IBM z/OS • TSO/ISPF • Endevor or Changeman • File\-AID • XPeditor/Abend\-AID Preferred Skills • IMS/DC and IMS DB • Pacbench, Pacdesign, PAF • IBM Rational Programming Patterns (RPP) • API enablement and modernization experience • Banking, Insurance or Financial Services domain knowledge Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field. • 5\+ years of Mainframe development experience. • 3\+ years of hands\-on IBM Pacbase experience. • Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
