Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior QA Engineer** with 5 to 7 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional testing, database testing, API testing, and automation testing using **Katalon** and **Playwright**. This is a hands\-on technical role requiring active participation in test execution, automation development, defect management, technical mentoring, and quality assurance leadership.

The candidate will work closely with cross\-functional teams to ensure software quality across complex business applications and transaction\-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and prepare test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, API, end\-to\-end, and automation testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Katalon and Playwright.
• Perform database validation using SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Validate APIs using Postman and ensure business workflow accuracy.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects through closure.
• Review testing artifacts and ensure adherence to QA best practices.
• Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Mentor QA team members and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Support release activities and ensure high\-quality software delivery.
