### **Role description**

Job Description

1\. Minimum 4\-5 years of experience in Wintel Administration.

2\. Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Windows Server Patching (2012R2/ 2016/ 2019/ 2022 etc..) and troubleshooting.

3\. Familiarity with Linux Server and ESXi patching methodologies.

4\. Strong VMWare administration skills, including virtual machine management and patching.

5\. Knowledge of security antivirus solutions and their implementation in enterprise environments.

6\. ITIL V4 certification or equivalent knowledge.

7\. Optional: Experience with Hyper\-V cluster administration \& AWS Cloud administration.

8\. Certifications such as Security\+\+ and Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022 would be advantageous.

9\. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, to support 24/7 operations.

10\. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language.

11\. Oracle DBA knowledge (Can be really helpful)

Key Responsibilities

1\. Perform patch management for Windows Server, Linux Server, and ESXi environments.

2\. Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to assess patching requirements, prioritize tasks, and schedule maintenance windows.

3\. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to patch management and cybersecurity.

4\. Maintain a strong understanding of security antivirus solutions and implement best practices for protecting systems via patch management skills.

5\. Utilize VMWare administration skills to ensure seamless integration and patching of virtualized environments.

6\. Demonstrate proficiency in ITIL V4 methodologies to streamline patching processes and improve service delivery.
