Role Title

Senior Scrum Master \- Salesforce

Experience

9\+ years of overall IT experience, with extensive hands on experience as a Scrum Master supporting Salesforce\-based Agile delivery teams.

Role Summary

The Senior Salesforce Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader for one or more Salesforce Agile teams, ensuring effective adoption of Scrum practices, smooth sprint execution, and continuous delivery of high quality Salesforce solutions. This role requires strong facilitation, stakeholder collaboration, and deep understanding of Agile delivery in enterprise Salesforce environments.

Key Responsibilities

Agile \& Scrum Facilitation

Serve as Scrum Master for Salesforce delivery teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Promote and reinforce Agile and Scrum best practices, ensuring consistent execution across teams.

Coach team members on Agile values, Scrum roles, and continuous improvement.

Team Enablement \& Delivery

Enable teams to self organize and self manage, fostering a high performing and collaborative environment.

Identify, track, and help remove impediments that impact sprint commitments or release timelines.

Support teams in sprint execution to ensure predictable and high quality Salesforce deliveries.

Backlog \& Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Salesforce Architects to ensure a well groomed and prioritized backlog.

Ensure user stories are clearly defined, estimated, and meet Definition of Ready (DoR) before sprint commitment.

Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

Metrics, Reporting \& Governance

Track and report Agile delivery metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown/burnup charts, cycle time, and release progress.

Provide regular delivery status updates, risk visibility, and dependency management to leadership.

Drive retrospectives and action plans to continuously improve team efficiency and delivery outcomes.

Tools \& Continuous Improvement

Ensure effective usage of JIRA and Confluence (or equivalent tools) for sprint tracking, documentation, and reporting.

Encourage continuous improvement practices and adoption of Agile maturity models (ScrumScale / SAFe exposure is a plus).

Required Skills \& Qualifications

Core Skills

9\+ years of IT experience with 5\+ years as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

Strong hands on experience supporting Salesforce programs (Sales, Service, Experience, Health, or Marketing Cloud).

Proven expertise in Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, and Agile metrics.

Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.

Tools \& Methodologies

Strong experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile reporting dashboards.

Experience working in enterprise Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, ScrumScale).
