Lead II - Software Engineering

• *Role description**

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 4–5 years of hands\-on experience to design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate is an expert in building automated pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, scripting, and GitHub Actions, and is passionate about improving deployment speed, system reliability, and developer productivity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules, remote state management, and workspace strategies. Write and maintain automation scripts (Bash/Python) for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and routine operational tasks. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), including compute, networking, storage, and IAM configurations. Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes/Helm. Implement GitOps practices for automated, auditable, and repeatable deployments. Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and ing systems (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK) to ensure system reliability and rapid incident response. Integrate security scanning (SAST/DAST, container/image scanning) and secrets management into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes and reduce deployment friction. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root\-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime. Document infrastructure, pipelines, and operational runbooks for team\-wide visibility and knowledge sharing. REQUIRED SKILLS \& QUALIFICATIONS 4–5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering role. Proven expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with strong hands\-on experience in GitHub Actions (workflows, reusable actions, self\-hosted runners, matrix builds). Strong command of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform (modules, state management, workspaces, drift detection). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and tooling. Solid experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including networking, IAM, and compute/storage services. Hands\-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/Helm). Working knowledge of monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or the ELK/EFK stack. Understanding of Git\-based version control workflows and branching strategies. Familiarity with security best practices in CI/CD (secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy\-as\-code). Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast\-paced environment. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross\-functional teams. PREFERRED / NICE\-TO\-HAVE Experience with other CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux. Relevant certifications: HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, AWS/Azure DevOps certifications, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Exposure to policy\-as\-code frameworks (OPA/Sentinel) and cost optimization practices (FinOps). Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small automation initiatives.
