We are seeking an experienced **Lead Performance Test Engineer** to drive our performance testing initiatives and ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of mission\-critical applications. In this role, you will design comprehensive test strategies, lead execution efforts, and collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-performing solutions that meet business objectives.
- *Responsibilities**
- Develop and author performance test plans aligned with project objectives
- Design peak workload models based on historical usage data and logs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate response time requirements
- Evaluate and recommend the rightsizing of performance test environments
- Analyze application risk profiles and align them with performance test objectives
- Translate objectives into test types and monitoring strategies
- Build performance test harnesses using industry\-standard tools
- Oversee test execution, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results
- Prepare and publish customized reports tailored to technical teams or senior management
- Support root cause analysis activities in both production and non\-production environments
- *Requirements**
- 9\-14 years of professional experience in performance test engineering
- Expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, and BlazeMeter
- Proficiency in at least one advanced monitoring tool such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Sysdig, including end\-to\-end setup
- Familiarity with observability platforms, including Splunk, Datadog, and Grafana
- Skills in workload modeling, peak load analysis, and interpreting historical usage data and logs
- Background in analyzing application risk profiles and translating them into test strategies
- Capability to lead test execution and validate accuracy and reliability of results
- Competency in preparing customized performance reports for both technical and executive audiences
- Understanding of root cause analysis methodologies across production and non\-production environments
- Knowledge of stakeholder management and negotiating non\-functional requirements such as response times
- Proficiency in English at an Upper\-Intermediate level (B2\) or higher
