Lead Platform Architect & Full-Stack Engineer

RushCiti is a next\-generation social commerce platform reimagining how people discover, shop, and engage online. We're building an intelligent platform that combines social experiences, content, community, and commerce into a single ecosystem. Currently in the MVP stage, we're assembling a small, high\-performing team to help build the foundation for long\-term growth.

• *Role Overview**

We're looking for a **Lead Platform Architect \& Full\-Stack Engineer** to architect, build, and scale RushCiti from the ground up. You'll work directly with the founder to define the technical vision, build the MVP, establish engineering standards, and create the foundation for a scalable social commerce platform. This is a hands\-on company\-building role for someone who enjoys owning architecture, product development, and technical execution.

• *Initial Responsibilities**

• Design the overall platform architecture and make key technical decisions for scalability, performance, and long\-term growth.
• Build and deliver core platform capabilities across frontend, backend, mobile, cloud infrastructure, APIs, databases, and AI systems.
• Develop marketplace, commerce, social, creator, payment, authentication, messaging, and analytics features.
• Establish engineering standards, CI/CD, testing, security, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate on product strategy, define MVP scope, prioritize features, and translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead technical execution, mentor future engineers, support hiring, and help establish the engineering culture as the team grows.

• *Qualifications**

• Strong experience in software engineering, platform architecture, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and full\-stack application development.
• Experience building and launching scalable web, mobile, SaaS, marketplace, ecommerce, social commerce, social media, or consumer internet products from MVP to growth.
• Strong knowledge of frontend, backend, databases, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, security, and software architecture.
• Experience with AI\-powered products, LLM integrations, recommendation systems, analytics, and modern AI development workflows.
• Experience making technical decisions, leading engineering initiatives, collaborating with founders, and mentoring engineering teams in startup or high\-growth environments.
• Strong systems thinking, product mindset, communication, and ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives.

• **Frontend:** React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• **Backend:** Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis
• **Mobile:** React Native
• **Cloud \& Infrastructure:** AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
• **Data \& AI:** Python, Vector Databases, Analytics Pipelines, Recommendation Systems, LLM Integrations

• *Education**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience, portfolio quality, technical thinking, and execution ability are valued more highly.
