The Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics Center (RMDC) is the mission\-critical arm of global service operations. As a **Lead RMDC Engineer** , you will act as the **Shift Lead and technical anchor** for the RMDC team, overseeing real\-time operations of a global fleet of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
You will be responsible for **leading a team of 8–12 engineers** , ensuring high system availability, operational discipline, and consistent execution of monitoring, diagnostics, and incident response. This role demands strong **leadership, technical depth, and operational** **ownership** to drive continuous improvement in RMDC performance.

- Drive coordination between RMDC, Field Service, Engineering, and Product teams

- *Technical Leadership \& Advanced Troubleshooting**

- Support engineers in troubleshooting SCADA, Linux systems, industrial networking, and site controllers
- Perform complex root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical issues

- *Training, Mentorship \& Team Development**

- *Qualifications \& Experience**

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Computer)
- Master’s degree preferred (M.Tech / M.Sc or equivalent)
- 8\+ years in NOC / ROC / RMDC or industrial operations
- Prior experience as Team Lead / Shift Lead / Tech Lead
- Strong Linux systems expertise (log analysis, troubleshooting)
- SCADA systems and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus)
- BESS systems understanding (PCS, BMS, HVAC)
- Electrical systems and power electronics knowledge
- Industrial networking knowledge
- ITIL / ITSM knowledge and incident, Problem, Change management practices
- Ticketing tools include Salesforce, Jira, Service Console, and ServiceNow
