The Lead Stores (Site) is responsible for efficient and cost effective management of domestic supply chain and logistics. The role also entails monitoring of RM, PM \& FG stores.

• *Strategic Responsibilities**
• -----------------------------

• Implement cost effective practices in warehouse and logistics management
• Implement best practices of supply chain management
• Ensure effective management of inventory
• Approve supplier selection through robust qualification processes
• Develop and execute roadmap to improve domestic logistics framework at site
• *Operational Responsibilities**

##### **Inventory and Stores Management**

• Define inventory levels of engineering and general items and avoid stock out position
• Minimize Inventory carrying cost by ensuring timely disposal of off\-spec RM and PM
• Maximize creditors day by higher credits on inputs and low inventories
• Assist in identifying non\-moving items as per norms and propose NPA in consultation with Engineering, Packaging Lab \& Quality Control department
• Ensure material reconciliation with sub\-contractors as per defined frequency and maintenance of proper records for outsourcing
• Plan RM \& PM availability at plant as per production planning \& review it
• Ensure effective utilization of available facilities / resources

##### **Logistics Management**

• Analyze supplier data and assist in solving complex quality problems
• Handling the entire logistics, payments, deliveries for site
• Provide guidance in domestic logistics management to ensure efficient and effective transportation of products
• Assess value and contribution of existing logistic partnerships and make changes when necessary
• Keep track of recent market developments in domestic logistics management and implement best practices of logistics management
• Ensure optimization of overall logistics troubleshooting cost

• Production Department for issue of RM / PM and receipt of FG
• QC related to quality of RM / PM / FG
• F\&A Department related to bills / invoice

• Facilitate initiatives for training need identification and building requisite skills \& competencies through systematic training \& skill\-upgradation initiatives for the team

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. \- Chemistry; B.Tech/B.E. – Chemical
• PG \- MBA/PGDM Graduate (Supply Chain/ Operations)

9 \-12 years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management in Manufacturing Sites
