• *Job Summary**

Express Engineering Solution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Lead Structural Designer** to lead the design and analysis of steel structures for industrial and process plant projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing structural concepts, performing detailed engineering calculations, reviewing design deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable engineering codes and standards.

The candidate should possess strong expertise in structural steel design, modular structures, lifting analysis, transportation analysis, and dynamic analysis of equipment support structures, along with proficiency in industry\-standard structural engineering software.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• *Structural Design \& Engineering**

• Develop detailed structural designs for industrial facilities, process plants, pipe racks, equipment support structures, platforms, and modular steel structures.
• Prepare conceptual framing layouts and structural design schemes based on project requirements.
• Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures under various loading conditions.
• Design and calculate structural components such as columns, beams, platforms, vessels, and equipment support systems.
• Execute structural frame in\-place analysis and lifting analysis.
• Perform modular structure design and analysis for:
• In\-place conditions
• Sea transportation
• Road transportation
• Lifting operations
• Conduct vibration and dynamic analysis of rotary equipment support structures.

• *Structural Analysis \& Calculations**

• Prepare and validate load calculations, design parameters, and structural analysis models.
• Perform steel connection design calculations.
• Carry out base plate and anchor bolt design calculations.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable local, national, and international design codes and engineering standards.
• Optimize structural designs for safety, constructability, and cost\-effectiveness.

• *Software \& Modeling**

• Develop and maintain structural models using engineering software such as:
• STAAD.Pro
• ETABS
• Tekla Structures
• Conduct structural simulations and verify design integrity under operational, transportation, and erection conditions.

• *Technical Leadership \& Review**

• Lead structural design activities throughout project execution.
• Review and verify engineering calculations, design reports, and structural drawings.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of all engineering deliverables before client submission.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and engineers.
• Resolve technical challenges and support multidisciplinary project teams.

• *Documentation \& Coordination**

• Prepare technical reports, calculation sheets, engineering notes, and design documentation.
• Generate and respond to Technical Queries (TQs).
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, project teams, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review and check vendor documents including:
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Assembly Drawings
• Fabrication Drawings
• Structural Calculation Reports
• Support project meetings, design reviews, and client discussions as required.

• *Required Qualifications**

• Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in structural steel design and analysis within industrial, EPC, oil \& gas, power, or process plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel structure design principles, structural analysis, and engineering standards.
• Proven experience in modular structure design, lifting analysis, transportation analysis, and equipment support structure design.
• Hands\-on experience in steel connection design, base plate design, and anchor bolt calculations.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla Structures, and related engineering software.
