About the Position
GIFT Autonomous is seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates to join the Department of Computer Science \& Engineering as Lecturers. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, supporting research and innovation activities, and contributing to the institution's AI and emerging technology initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification
- Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Science with a good academic record throughout.
- Candidates with M.Sc. in Computer Science will be given preference.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience, OR
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Freshers with strong academic credentials may also apply.
- Applicants with more than seven (7\) years of professional experience need not apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching \& Academic Activities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and academic mentoring for students.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental academic activities.
Research \& Innovation
- Assist in research, innovation, and consultancy activities.
- Support projects related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and emerging technologies.
- Encourage student participation in research, hackathons, innovation challenges, and technical events.
- Contribute to publications, funded projects, and intellectual property initiatives.
Departmental Responsibilities
- Participate in accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional development activities.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, and industry interactions.
- Support NBA, NAAC, and other academic quality initiatives.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the department and institution.
