The **Head – Liaisoning** will lead the organization’s regulatory strategy, statutory approvals. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and municipal departments to secure all project\-related permissions within defined timelines.
The position requires deep knowledge of real estate laws, strong government relations, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks while safeguarding the organization’s legal and compliance interests.
· Develop and execute the company’s government liaisoning and regulatory engagement strategy.
· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government officials, regulatory authorities, and municipal departments.
· Represent the organization in policy discussions, regulatory meetings, and government forums related to the real estate sector.
· Act as the primary interface between the organization and government bodies.
· Lead the process of securing all statutory approvals required for commercial real estate and construction projects.
· Provide legal advisory on land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and statutory permissions.
· Ensure company operations comply with applicable laws.
· Coordinate with internal legal teams and external consultants on compliance matters.
· Work closely with project management, engineering, design, and legal teams to align regulatory approvals with project timelines.
· Identify and mitigate regulatory risks that may impact project schedules or costs.
· Ensure approvals are obtained in a structured and timely manner.
· Maintain proper documentation and records of all approvals, licenses, and regulatory communications.
· Track regulatory changes, government notifications, and policy updates affecting the real estate sector.
· Advise senior management on regulatory risks and opportunities.
· Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulatory frameworks
