Role Overview

Gate Manufacturing Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to manage day\-to\-day production operations, manpower, productivity, quality, and shop\-floor execution.

The candidate should have 4–5\+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and strong hands\-on experience in managing production teams and achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage and allocate manpower across production lines, machines, and shifts.
• Monitor attendance, manpower productivity, discipline, and workforce utilization.
• Plan and execute daily production activities as per production schedules.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within quality and delivery requirements.
• Monitor WIP, line balancing, production flow, and bottlenecks.
• Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and OEE.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with Quality to control rejection, rework, and process deviations.
• Coordinate with Stores/SCM to ensure material availability.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, safety, and quality standards.
• Train, guide, and develop operators and junior production personnel.
• Monitor production performance and take corrective actions for deviations.
• Prepare daily/shift production reports and performance dashboards.
• Drive 5S, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Escalate major production, quality, manpower, and maintenance issues to the Production Manager.

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4–5\+ years of experience in manufacturing production.
• Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
