- *Job Details and Responsibilities**
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Financial ownership for a number of entities (countries) within the Lemongrass Group.
- Manage to the monthly close cycle and timetable ensuring periods are closed within given KPI’s.
- Prepare and post monthly accounting entries.
- Analyse variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts and provide explanations.
- Complete bank reconciliations and postings.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for each entity and investigate discrepancies with an action plan to clear.
- Manage the local entity VAT processes and reporting.
- Partnering with local accountants to ensure all required statutory filings are completed within timescales and adherence to external statutory regulations.
- Assist \& support the UK and US Group audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger integrity.
- Ensure compliance with Lemongrass finance policies, Lemongrass standard practices and local statutory requirements.
- *Professional Qualifications and Experience:**
- CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc… or qualified by experience.
- 5\+ years of industry specific finance experience, ideally with a background in Professional Services, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), or the broader Tech/SaaS sector.
- Understanding of statutory requirements (understanding of regional tax, compliance, and multi\-currency environments is a plus).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite,etc)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel. There won’t be ERP systems available to help with large and complex data so the ability to problem solve in Excel is very important.
- Strong analytical skills as well as good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management and multi\-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to establish key relationships with a number of stakeholders.
- Flexible approach and ability to operate across all levels of Finance delivery.
