- *Job Overview**
The **Operations Manager** oversees brokerage functions across one or multiple teams. These operations teams support accurate movement, reporting, and management of client assets. This position leads a team responsible for Clearing operations and/or client facing operations. The manager plays a key role in driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying performance trends to enhance efficiency and service quality.
In addition to daily operations oversight, this role focuses on people management, project execution, and cross\-functional coordination. The manager supervises a team of 15\-20, providing coaching and fostering professional development in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment. The role partners closely with onshore teams to ensure consistent execution, knowledge transfer, and alignment of processes. Success in this role requires strong leadership, decisive decision making, and a commitment to collaboration.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- **Team Leadership:** Hire and manage a team, providing direction, coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to drive performance and engagement
- **Structure:** Ensure adherence to Lean Management practices, including daily huddles, standard work, and continuous improvement routines
- **Risk \& Controls:** Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, controls, and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence
- **Global Partnership:** Partner with onshore teams to support work transition, ongoing execution, and process alignment
- **Operational Oversight:** Manage daily work queues and oversee operational performance, analyze trends, and lead root cause problem\-solving to reduce errors.
- **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage risk through controls and reconciliations, and support internal/external audits

- *Required Qualifications**
- 5\+ years of financial services operations experience, with exposure to clearing operations and client facing operations.
- People management experience, including leading teams in high\-volume, deadline\-driven environments, and working across teams
- Operational risk management background, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across processes
- FINRA Series 99 license required, or the ability to obtain the license within 120 days of start date
- *Preferences:**
- Experience working in global or offshore/onshore operating models
- Familiarity with Lean or process improvement methodologies
- Exposure to regulatory audits and control environments within financial services
