Prabal Motors Private Limited was incorporated in 2012 and operates the Prabal Trucking dealership network for BharatBenz commercial vehicles. Its corporate office is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and it operates across three states in India. Its Maharashtra operations support truck sales and after\-sales services, including vehicle servicing and spare\-parts operations.

Prabal Motors is part of Popular Vehicles \& Services (Kuttukaran Group), established in 1939 and incorporated as a public limited company in 2024, with its headquarters in Kochi, Kerala. • *Purpose of the Prabal Finance Function**

The Finance function aims to establish strong financial discipline, effective internal controls and reliable reporting across all operating locations. It ensures accurate books, timely month\-end closure, statutory compliance, effective cash and working\-capital management, and actionable financial insights for regional and group management.

The role involves close coordination with the Head of Finance, regional leadership and location teams, supported by regular review meetings, branch visits and continuous process improvement.

• **Accurate and Timely Reporting**: Ensure reliable financial statements and on\-time books closure across all locations.
• **Strong Financial Controls:** Strengthen accounting discipline, audit readiness, SOP compliance and risk mitigation.
• **Statutory Compliance:** Ensure timely and accurate GST, TDS and other applicable statutory compliances.
• **Working Capital Optimisation:** Improve cash\-flow visibility, bank reconciliation, collections and inventory control.
• **Business\-Focused MIS:** Deliver timely, decision\-ready reports highlighting financial performance, risks and improvement opportunities.
• **Operational Accountability:** Establish clear ownership, timely issue resolution and consistent execution across branches.
• **Continuous Improvement:** Standardise processes, improve productivity and leverage automation to reduce manual work and errors.

· **Leadership:** Lead a Finance team of 15\+ members, including Branch Accountants and Cluster Heads spread at Marathwada and Aurangabad clusters

• *Overall Purpose:** To build a disciplined, control\-oriented and business\-partnering Finance function that supports profitable growth, operational efficiency and informed management decisions across Prabal Motors.

Identify a CA\-qualified finance professional who can own core accounting and control disciplines while leading delivery through the team. • *ROLE \& CANDIDATE PROFILE**

• *Role Purpose\-**

Direct and oversee financial accounting, general ledger management, statutory compliance, tax filings and audit processes for the dealership. Maintain accurate records and robust controls, manage working capital, and provide dependable financial statements and analysis to support management decisions.

• *Responsibility \& Expected Ownership**

• *1\) Financial Accounting and GL**

Own end\-to\-end general ledger, monthly and annual books closure, P\&L preparation and balance\-sheet reconciliations.

• *2\) Statutory Compliance and Tax**

Ensure accurate and timely computation, filing and payment of corporate taxes, GST, TDS and other statutory dues.

• *3\) Audit and Internal Controls**

Coordinate internal, external and statutory audits; resolve observations promptly and enforce sound financial controls.

• *4\) Working Capital and Treasury**

Monitor cash flow, banking, treasury and receivable/payable ageing to maintain healthy liquidity.

• *5\) Reporting and Analysis**

Prepare performance reports, variance analysis and budget reviews for the Head of Finance and management.

• *6\) Leadership**

Lead the entire MH Finance team, including Branch Accountants and Cluster Heads, ensuring clear accountability, timely deliverables, strong controls and consistent performance across locations.

• *CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

i) Chartered Accountant (CA), with 2–4 years of post\-qualification experience.

ii) Strong grounding in accounting, financial analysis, treasury and audit; working knowledge of Tally Prime and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

iii) Clear communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail, problem\-solving ability, and the ability to drive a team to deliverables.

iv) English and Hindi required; Tamil \& Marathi is an advantage. Open to all candidates; preference will be given to women candidates.
