Manager Fettling

We are looking for an experienced Fettling Manager to manage our Steel Casting Foundry Fettling Division.

• *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Overall management of fettling, grinding, heat treatment and welding operations.
• Plan and execute daily fettling production schedules through in\-house teams and subcontractors.
• Supervise swing grinding, wheel grinding, welding, arc gouging and shot blasting operations.
• Ensure castings meet dimensional accuracy and surface quality requirements.
• Monitor fettling manpower and welder allocation to achieve productivity targets and meet customer delivery commitments.
• Control fettling rejection, rework and material wastage.
• Initiate in\-process inspections and raise Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs) wherever required.
• Maintain production records and daily performance reports.
• Ensure workplace housekeeping, safety compliance and proper maintenance of fettling equipment.

• *TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**

• Carbon Steel, Low Temperature Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel castings.
• Knowledge of casting defects and their identification.
• Welding electrode selection and welding techniques.
• Arc gouging and welding repair coordination.
• Shot blasting, MPI, DP and acid pickling processes.
• Understanding of casting drawings and dimensional requirements.
• Knowledge of quality standards and customer specifications.

• *QUALIFICATION**

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Candidates with strong practical foundry experience will also be considered.

• *EXPERIENCE**

• 8–12 years of experience in steel casting foundry operations.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory / managerial position.
• Experience in valve casting foundries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
