Job Summary
The "Manager \- HR \& Compliance" will be responsible for ensuring that the factory complies with all applicable labor laws, factory regulations, statutory requirements, and internal company policies. The role also includes managing HR operations, employee records, statutory registrations, inspections, audits, and liaison with government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory \& Legal Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Labour Codes, Shops \& Establishments Act (where applicable), and other statutory regulations.
- Maintain all statutory registers, notices, records, and licenses.
- Monitor compliance related to:
- PF
- ESI
- Professional Tax
- Labour Welfare Fund
- Bonus
- Gratuity
- Contract Labour Compliance
- Minimum Wages
- Overtime Regulations
- Employment Exchanges (where applicable)
- Coordinate renewal of licenses, registrations, and certifications.
Factory Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with Factory License requirements.
- Coordinate inspections from government authorities.
- Maintain records related to safety, health, welfare, and employee facilities.
- Support implementation of food manufacturing compliance requirements.
- Ensure contractor and vendor compliance documentation is maintained.
HR Operations
- Manage employee onboarding and documentation.
- Verify employee records and statutory documents.
- Maintain employee personal files and digital records.
- Monitor attendance, leave, and payroll inputs.
- Support recruitment activities for factory manpower.
- Handle employee confirmations, transfers, and exits.
Payroll \& Benefits Compliance
- Verify monthly payroll compliance.
- Review PF, ESI, PT, and other statutory deductions.
- Coordinate timely remittance and statutory filings.
- Ensure accurate employee wage records.
Audit \& Documentation
- Prepare for internal and external audits.
- Maintain compliance trackers and MIS reports.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper documentation and record retention.
Liaison \& Coordination

- Promote compliance with company policies and code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Labour Management, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Diploma/Degree in Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, or Personnel Management preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in factory HR and statutory compliance.
- Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, FMCG, or production industries preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Labour Laws and Factory Compliance.
- Knowledge of PF, ESI, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, and Payroll Compliance.
- Experience handling government inspections and audits.
- Excellent documentation and record management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and statutory compliance software.
Pay: ₹35,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
