Manager – Investment Strategy \& Products

Compensation: ₹12–15 lakh \+ performance\-linked variable

Aksha Moneyworks4u is a boutique wealth\-management and mutual\-fund distribution firm serving affluent and HNI families across India.

We are looking for an experienced investment professional to help strengthen our investment research, product strategy and institutional investment capability.

This is not a pure equity\-research role.

We are particularly interested in professionals from AMCs, wealth\-management firms, investment\-product teams or similar backgrounds who have spent several years around markets, mutual funds and fund managers and have developed genuine investment judgment along the way.

Key Responsibilities

\- Research and evaluate mutual funds, fund managers, sectors, market cycles and investment products.

\- Develop independent views on scheme selection, monitoring and exits.

\- Contribute to portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment\-strategy discussions.

\- Help strengthen Aksha Moneyworks4u’s Investment Committee, research frameworks and institutional memory.

\- Interact with fund managers, CIOs and investment teams across AMCs.

\- Contribute to investment research, client webinars, YouTube and other thought\-leadership initiatives.

\- Help train and develop younger investment talent within the organisation.

\- Over time, contribute to building Aksha Moneyworks4u’s investment\-management capabilities, including our proposed PMS.

Who We Are Looking For

\- 5–8 years of relevant experience and exposure to multiple market regimes.

\- Genuine interest in businesses, markets, sectors, fund managers and investor behaviour.

\- Good working understanding of fundamental analysis, financial statements and valuations.

\- Understanding of different investing styles such as value, growth, quality, momentum and contra.

\- Good knowledge of India’s mutual\-fund ecosystem and leading fund managers.

\- Strong, structured and evidence\-based thinking.

\- Ability to clearly articulate a thesis, risks, opposing evidence and what would change your view.

\- Willingness to challenge consensus and senior colleagues when required.

\- Desire to build something rather than simply perform analysis.

MBA Finance / CFA / CWM / CA or similar qualifications are welcome, but quality of thinking and market experience matter more than certifications.

The Opportunity

The role offers a broad 5–10 year canvas across investment research, product strategy, Investment Committee responsibilities, thought leadership, team building and potentially future investment\-management businesses.

The scope of the role will grow with demonstrated capability, judgment and contribution.
