As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer \& Community Banking Team, you lead multiple teams and manage day\-to\-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

• *Job responsibilities**

• Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
• Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
• Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation

• *Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**

• Formal training or certification on Java concepts and 5\+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
• Hands\-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency with programming languages like Java is a must, SQL and experience in Spring boot, Micro services, AWS
• Hands\-on experience in RDBMS; Oracle or PostgresSQL
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Hands\-on experience in AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS KMS, AWS ECS, AWS EKS, AWS S3, EMR, Athena, SQS, EventBridge, PostgresSQL
• Hands\-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning Tools like Terraform \& Cloud Formation etc
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

• Experience working at code level
• Practical cloud native experience
• In\-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT system
