• *What You Will Own**

In this role, you will own the month\-end close and statutory reporting for Tally’s group of Indian and international entities, reporting to the Head – Financial Controllership. You will lead the Record\-to\-Report and Financial Reporting team, drive a faster and cleaner close, manage statutory and internal audits end to end and own the internal controls and governance framework while partnering closely with business and functional teams.

• *Where Your Expertise Meets Our Future**
• Chartered Accountant with 6\-8 years of post\-qualification experience in financial reporting or controllership.
• Big\-4 audit or controllership experience in a multi\-entity group, including overseas subsidiaries.
• Strong, hands\-on command of Ind AS (115, 109, 116 and 12\) and Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013\.
• Proven record of owning month\-end close and consolidation for a group of companies.
• Experience leading statutory audits end to end and closing them on schedule with minimal adjustments.
• Working knowledge of direct and indirect tax and their impact on financial statements.
• Hands\-on experience with Internal Financial Controls (IFC), IT General Controls (ITGC), internal audits and finance policy governance.
• Background in software product or technology companies is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting systems; experience with TallyPrime is a plus.
• Experience leading and developing a team of two or more.
• Structured problem\-solver with a strong bias for simplifying and automating processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and auditors.
• High ownership and accountability, with a consistent record of meeting hard deadlines
• *The Scope of Your Influence****Month\-End Close \& Record\-to\-Report**

• Own the month\-end close calendar for all entities, driving faster and cleaner closes with defined owners and timelines.
• Review GL, provisions, prepaids, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, payroll and intercompany entries.
• Ensure accurate and timely forex reinstatement and accounting for international subsidiaries.

• *Financial Reporting \& Consolidation**

• Deliver standalone and consolidated financial statements, including quarterly condensed financials.
• Own Ind AS positions (revenue and commission deferral, ECL, leases, investments, deferred tax) and the related disclosures.
• Provide inputs on quarterly revenue and expense projections for advance\-tax computation.

• *Audit, Controls \& Governance**

• Plan and lead statutory audits for all group entities, pulling the year\-end timetable forward.
• Coordinate internal audits, conduct IFC testing and ITGC reviews, and drive closure of audit observations.
• Maintain finance policies (P2P, transaction execution, delegation of authority) and a single audit PBC tracker.

• *Team Leadership \& Capability**

• Lead and coach the R2R and Reporting team, building individual development plans for each member.
• Set KPIs for closure timelines reconciliation quality and audit adjustments and review them monthly.

• *Process, Systems \& Automation**

• Standardize close checklists and SOPs to strengthen control over the book closure process.
• Partner with the Finance Systems team to automate reconciliations and reporting within Tally products.

• *Stakeholder Collaboration**

• Work with Treasury, O2C, P2P, Tax, HR and Legal to resolve accounting issues before the monthly book closure.
• Build effective working relationships with auditors and cross\-functional stakeholders.
