Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead strategy consulting engagements within the telecom domain. With 7–8 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in market research and analytics, combined with proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive strategic outcomes for telecom operators, infrastructure players, and technology providers. This role carries ownership of engagement delivery, team leadership, and senior stakeholder management, while shaping the strategic direction of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end\-to\-end delivery of strategy consulting engagements for telecom clients.

• Own client relationships at senior/mid\-management levels, acting as the primary point of contact for the engagement

• Lead the design of research frameworks, market sizing models, competitive benchmarking, and customer/segmentation studies for telecom clients

• Develop and present executive\-level and board\-ready presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations

• Mentor, coach, and manage a team of consultants and analysts, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development

• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development, client pitches, and identification of new opportunities within existing accounts

• Build and maintain a point of view on telecom industry trends, M\&A activity, and emerging business models to support thought leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and MBA from a reputed b\-school.

• 7–8 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, telecom strategy, or corporate strategy roles, with a track record within the telecom sector

• Demonstrated expertise leading market research and analytics work streams, including primary/secondary research, survey design, and competitive benchmarking

• Strong command of data analytics tools (Excel, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) and financial/market modelling

• Proven experience managing and mentoring junior team members, including performance reviews and skill development

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable, executive\-level narratives

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at a strategy consulting firm or telecom operator

• Exposure to emerging telecom trends such as 5G monetization, IoT, network\-as\-a\-service, or digital transformation in telecom

• Prior client\-facing experience or exposure to consulting engagements
