• *Core Responsibilities**

• *IT System Benchmarking:** Evaluate the performance and reliability of trading platforms (e.g., latency, uptime) against competitors to ensure the brokerage remains competitive in smaller cities with varying internet stability – primarily for back office operations and risk engines

• *Regional Market Segmentation:** Analyze retail trading behavior in specific Tier 2/3 clusters to identify demand for localized features like regional language interfaces or simplified "lite" apps or age and gender\-based specifications

• *Competitor IT Mapping:** Monitor the adoption of new technologies (e.g., AI\-driven advisory, cloud\-based trading) by rival brokerages to advise management on necessary infrastructure upgrades

• *Regulatory Research:** Track NISM certification requirements and SEBI mandates for IT governance to ensure regional branch operations remain compliant

• *Vendor Analysis:** Research and recommend IT vendors for **edge data centers** or cloud infrastructure that can reduce latency for regional users

• *Required Technical Skills**

• *Data Analysis Tools:** Proficiency in **Advanced Excel**, **SQL**, and **Python** for extracting and cleaning large datasets of trading activity

• *Visualization:** Ability to use Tableau or **Power BI** to present complex infrastructure and market trends to stakeholders in a clear, visual format

• *Market Intelligence Software:** Familiarity with databases like **CMIE (Prowess)** or **Nielsen India** for socio\-economic data relevant to non\-metro regions

• *Survey Design:** Expertise in tools like SurveyMonkey or **Google Forms** to gather direct feedback from regional sub\-brokers and retail clients

• *Certifications:** Candidates with Google Data Analytics or specialized finance certifications are highly preferred
