Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced **Marketplace Website Developer** to design, develop, launch, and maintain a professional multi\-vendor e\-commerce marketplace platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of website development, e\-commerce technologies, marketplace functionality, payment gateway integration, and website security.

The candidate will be responsible for developing a scalable, secure, user\-friendly marketplace website similar in functionality to Amazon, IndiaMART, or Alibaba.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a professional multi\-vendor marketplace website.
• Develop seller registration, seller dashboards, and vendor management systems.
• Implement product listings, categories, advanced search, and filtering options.
• Integrate secure payment gateways, shopping carts, and checkout systems.
• Develop order management, inventory tracking, and shipment tracking features.
• Implement customer registration, login, and account management.
• Develop an admin dashboard to manage sellers, customers, products, commissions, and orders.
• Ensure mobile\-responsive website design and fast loading speed.
• Integrate third\-party APIs, shipping partners, and notification systems.
• Implement SEO\-friendly website architecture.
• Maintain website security, performance, backups, and regular updates.
• Identify and resolve technical issues.
• Support future website upgrades and new marketplace features.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, PHP, Laravel, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience in developing e\-commerce or multi\-vendor marketplace platforms.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third\-party integrations.
• Experience integrating payment gateways such as Razorpay, PayU, or Stripe.
• Familiarity with AWS, cloud hosting, and domain management.
• Understanding of website security, SEO, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Git and version control.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant website development experience.
• Previous experience developing a multi\-vendor marketplace or B2B e\-commerce platform.
• Ability to independently handle website development projects from planning to deployment.
• Strong problem\-solving and communication skills.
