• *About the Role**

Responsible for gearbox modeling, drafting, component design, and engineering documentation while collaborating with cross\-functional teams to support product development and optimization initiatives.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Create engineering specifications, technical drawings, and bills of materials (BOM) for gearbox components.
• Develop 3D models and detailed drawings for geared motor and gearbox products.
• Deliver engineering outputs within defined project timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to support product development activities.
• Perform design calculations and work in accordance with applicable engineering standards and design methodologies.
• Design and optimize cast components used in gearbox assemblies.
• Participate in prototype testing and validation activities.
• Support localization, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Review supplier drawings and technical documentation and provide engineering feedback.

• *Required Skills \& Qualifications**

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and gearbox engineering.
• Experience in gearbox, transmission, or powertrain design.
• Knowledge of ISO and DIN standards and load capacity calculation methodologies.
• Hands\-on experience with gearbox design and analysis software such as Romax and KISSsoft.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX (Unigraphics) for modeling and drafting.
• Experience working with PLM/ERP systems such as SAP, Teamcenter, or similar platforms.

Pay: ₹1,000,000\.00 \- ₹1,200,000\.00 per year
