Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer proficient in AutoCAD and

SolidWorks to support the design and engineering of industrial equipment including

conveyors, conveyor ovens, powder coating plants, industrial ovens, and customized

automation systems.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies,

manufacturing drawings, BOM preparation, and coordination with production teams for

smooth fabrication and installation.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Mechanical Design \& Development

• Design and develop industrial machinery as per customer requirements.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and fabrication drawings using

SolidWorks.

• Prepare 2D GA drawings, manufacturing drawings, and installation drawings

using AutoCAD.

* Design conveyor systems including

o Belt conveyors

o Roller conveyors

o Chain conveyors

o Slat conveyors

o Overhead conveyors

o Incline conveyors

o Conveyor ovens

2\. Industrial Oven \& Heating System Design

• Design various industrial ovens: o Powder coating ovens

o Conveyorized curing ovens

o Heating chambers

o Drying ovens

o Batch ovens

* Prepare

o Oven GA drawings

o Insulation details

o Air circulation layouts

o Burner/heater mounting arrangements

o Conveyor integration drawings

3\. Engineering Documentation

* Prepare

o BOM (Bill of Material)

o Material specifications

o Fabrication drawings

o Assembly drawings

o Detail part drawings

o Technical datasheets

• Maintain drawing revision control and engineering documentation.

4\. Manufacturing Support

• Coordinate with fabrication, machining, and assembly teams.
• Provide technical clarification during manufacturing.
• Review fabricated components according to approved drawings.
• Support installation and commissioning teams.

5\. Customer Drawing \& Project Support

• Understand customer requirements and convert them into engineering designs.
• Study customer drawings and prepare suitable solutions.
• Modify designs based on customer feedback.
• Prepare professional engineering documents for client submission.

Required Technical Skills

Software Skills

• AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• SolidWorks (Mandatory)
• MS Excel for BOM and calculations **Basic knowledge of MS Office**

Mechanical Knowledge

• Conveyor design principles
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Structural design
• Welding fabrication
• Bearings, shafts, rollers, gearboxes, motors
• Pneumatic components
• Industrial heating systems
• Powder coating plant equipment

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following industries will be preferred

• Conveyor manufacturing
• Material handling equipment
• Powder coating plants
• Industrial ovens
• Automation machinery
• Special purpose machines (SPM)

Qualification

• Graduate /ITI /Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings and manufacturing processes
