A Medical Representative (MR) serves as the key bridge between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. They promote, detail, and sell pharmaceutical medications and medical devices to doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals to increase prescription rates while ensuring medical staff are updated on the latest treatments.
*Core Responsibilities**
**Product Promotion \& Detailing:** Educate doctors, nurses, and pharmacists on the benefits, dosages, usage, and potential side effects of the company's pharmaceutical products.
**Relationship Management:** Build and nurture long\-term, trusting professional relationships with key decision\-makers in clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.
**Territory Planning:** Schedule regular appointments, plan daily visit routes, and manage promotional activities within an assigned geographic territory.
**Sales \& Target Achievement:** Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by driving prescription behavior and product availability.
**Market Intelligence:** Monitor competitor activities, track prescription patterns, and gather customer feedback to help the company refine its marketing strategies.
**Reporting \& Documentation:** Maintain detailed, up\-to\-date records of client interactions, manage budgets, and submit regular sales and activity reports to management.
**Compliance \& Ethics:** Adhere strictly to company policies, ethical sales practices, and industry regulatory guidelines during all product presentations
