MEP Engineer

• *Core Responsibilities**

• **Mechanical (HVAC \& Ventilation):**
• Design heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform thermal load calculations, size ductwork, and plan equipment placement.
• Focus on indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
• **Electrical:**
• Design power distribution, lighting layouts, and emergency power systems.
• Plan fire alarm and security systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes (such as NEC or local standards).
• **Plumbing \& Fire Protection:**
• Design clean water supply lines, sanitary drainage, and waste management.
• Plan fire sprinkler systems and backflow prevention.
• Calculate water pressure zones and flow rates.

Project Lifecycle \& Management Duties

• **Design \& Modeling:** Create detailed engineering plans, technical specifications, and 3D models using tools like **AutoCAD**, **Revit MEP**, or **Navisworks**.
• **Multidisciplinary Coordination:** Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to prevent spatial clashes between building systems.
• **Code Compliance \& Safety:** Ensure all designs follow local building codes, fire safety regulations, and sustainability standards (like ASHRAE).
• **Site Supervision \& Commissioning:** Oversee on\-site installation, conduct quality inspections, test systems, and assist with project commissioning.
• **Administration \& Budgeting:** Prepare cost estimates, review vendor shop drawings and submittals, manage Requests for Information (RFIs), and monitor project schedules.

Pay: ₹329,000\.00 \- ₹1,200,000\.00 per year
