We are currently seeking a Messaging Services Specialist Advisor \- M365, Exchange onprem, MS teams to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN\-KA), India (IN).

The Microsoft Exchange and M365 Administrator will be responsible for the overall transition , administration, support, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 environment. This role requires a deep understanding of M365 services, including Exchange Online, Exchange On\-Premises Hybrid servers, Microsoft Purview, Defender for O365 and MS\-Teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem\-solving abilities, and the capability to manage and optimize the use of M365 solutions to meet business needs

Job Description\-

  • To leads the technical and operational transfer of M365 support services from an incumbent vendor to our team.
  • This role requires strong expertise in transition, knowledge transfer planning, support readiness ,stakeholder coordination, and technical expertise and through knowledge of M365/Collaboration services.
  • Understanding their requirements and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.
  • Flexible working in shifts supporting 24X7 steady state operations.

Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice, and program delivery.

Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise.

Thorough understanding and management of customer business needs and expectations.

Works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables.

Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations.

Develops innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improves business performance and contributes to corporate goals and strategic intent.

Anticipates operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures.

Provides advanced technical support within area of expertise to clients on complex integration issues and is often in a lead role within major projects.

Apply advanced training and experience to resolve difficult client problems where standard practice has failed.

Identifies, structures, and delivers services that enable business processes.

Develop automated methods needed to implement recommended solutions.

Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.

Providing guidance and mentoring junior team members.

Candidates must have exceptional customer service, problem solving, and communication skills.

Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and with a global team of engineers.

Strong team player with ability to work in a team and as individual contributor Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Technical Skills\-

  • Provide maintenance, support and troubleshooting activities on server\-side configurations and integration in support of high\-availability, server roles, Exchange online, Hybrid environment, mail\-flow/transport services, Client access/webmail, security compliance and email protection. • Lead technical transition activities and KT sessions to ensure the support team is fully equipped to handle the new environment
  • Oversee system dependency mapping, infrastructure configuration, and ensuring solutions meet architectural standards
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve technical issues during the transition.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and service levels
  • Administration and Support: Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 services, providing day\-to\-day support and administration of M365 services.
  • Implementation and Configuration: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot M365 services, including Exchange Online, Exchange On\-Premises servers and Microsoft Teams.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the Microsoft 365 platform and adopting the best practices and recommendations.
  • Setting up archiving, retention policies, journal rules, and conducting eDiscovery for legal holds
  • Configuring anti\-spam, anti\-malware, and anti\-phishing policies to secure email.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor system performance and usage to ensure optimal performance and availability. Generate reports on system usage, security, and compliance.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security settings and policies to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. DLP engineering and administration. Handle security incidents and perform regular security audits
  • Support and troubleshooting client/server environments, server Health check, PowerShell commands/scripts, bulk reports, monitoring parameters, backups etc.
  • Server maintenance/upgrades\-Patching, RU/CU’s, security updates, server installation/deployment, configuring components and software integration.
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools/platform to perform Request, Incident, Change and problem management. Service management and service level management
  • Steady state support to the messaging infrastructure, handling on\-call responsibilities, complex issues, escalations, server maintenance activities etc.
  • Interact with Microsoft support to resolve tenant\-level issues or service outages

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.• At least 10 years of experience in administration and support of M365 workloads.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in M365 services and features, such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and Security and Compliance.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem\-solving skills.
  • Certification in M365 or Azure is a plus.
