Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Build robust semantic data models and implement star/snowflake schemas for optimal performance.

Excellent Data modeling capabilities in Power BI using star schema, power query, aggregated tables and converting 3NF tables to star schema tables.

Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems

Build Self Service Data models

Excellent SQL query writing skills and analyzing Snowflake Data.

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards , reports, and data visualizations.

Create complex DAX calculations , measures, and KPIs.

Develop and optimize SQL queries , stored procedures, and views to support BI reporting.

Collaborate with data engineers to integrate and model data in Snowflake .

Ensure data quality , model integrity, and adherence to BI governance standards.

Optimize Power BI datasets for performance, refresh cycles, and scalability.

Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

6\+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 4 years in Power BI .

• *Expert\-level knowledge of:**

Power BI Desktop (DAX, Power Query, M script)

Data modeling \& star schema design

SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)

Snowflake (data warehousing, data sharing, schema design)

Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.

Experience working with large and complex datasets.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Power BI Service , gateways, Row\-Level Security (RLS).

Knowledge of Snowflake , Complex query writing , or other cloud integration tools.

Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate ).

The Technical Lead for Microsoft PowerBI and SQL will be responsible for leading technical teams in developing Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft PowerBI and SQL technologies. The individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data visualizations and analytical reports to support business decision\-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Lead and mentor technical teams in the design and development of microsoft powerbi dashboards and reports.

2\. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that powerbi solutions meet business needs.

3\. Develop and maintain sql databases and queries to support data extraction and transformation for powerbi.

4\. Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of powerbi solutions.

5\. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in microsoft powerbi and sql to enhance existing processes.

6\. Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to powerbi implementations.

Skill Requirements

1\. Proficiency in microsoft powerbi to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports.

2\. Strong command of sql for database management, query optimization, and data manipulation.

3\. Excellent problem\-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.

4\. Experience in leading technical teams and driving successful project deliveries.

5\. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.

6\. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Other Requirements
