Role summary

We are hiring an MIS Executive in Mohali to own day\-to\-day reporting and data management for the business. You will turn sales, inventory and operations data into accurate, on\-time reports and dashboards that help management track performance and make decisions.

What you will do

• *Reporting and dashboards**

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports on sales, targets vs achievement, collections and outstanding.
• Build and maintain dashboards for management, regional heads and sales teams.
• Track region\-wise, product\-wise, dealer\-wise and salesperson\-wise performance.
• Prepare presentations and review decks for monthly and quarterly business reviews.

• *Data management**

• Collect, clean and consolidate data from ERP, CRM, field teams and other sources.
• Maintain master data: dealers, distributors, products, price lists and employees.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and timely updating of all databases.

• *Sales and operations support**

• Track primary and secondary sales, order status, dispatches and stock levels.
• Calculate sales incentives, schemes, discounts and dealer claims.
• Monitor ageing of receivables and share follow\-up lists with sales teams.
• Track attendance, field activity and expense reports of the sales team.

• *Dealer \& distributor app management**

• Manage the company's dealer and distributor app as its day\-to\-day admin.
• Onboard new dealers and distributors on the app, create user IDs and manage access.
• Update product catalogue, price lists, schemes and offers on the app.
• Monitor orders placed through the app and coordinate with sales, dispatch and accounts for fulfilment.
• Pull app data (orders, active users, usage) into MIS reports and track app adoption by dealers.
• Resolve dealer queries on app usage and coordinate with the IT/app vendor on bugs and updates.

• *Analysis and process improvement**

• Analyse trends, variances and gaps, and flag issues to management.
• Automate repetitive reports using Excel formulas, macros or other tools.
• Respond to ad\-hoc data requests from management quickly and accurately.
• Coordinate with sales, accounts, logistics and HR for data inputs.

What you must have

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an MIS / reporting role.
• Advanced MS Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, data validation, charts.
• Working knowledge of Excel macros/VBA, Google Sheets and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle or similar) for data extraction.
• Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, BCA or B.Sc preferred).

• *Good to have**

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio.
• Basic SQL for pulling and joining data.
• MIS experience in a sales, manufacturing or distribution company, with hands\-on use of a dealer/distributor ordering app or DMS.

• *Skills**

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Ability to meet daily reporting deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Hindi.
• Analytical mindset with a problem\-solving approach.
