Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Moulding In\-Charge to manage day\-to\-day plastic injection moulding operations. The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, mould setting, process parameter control, production planning, manpower management, quality monitoring, and achieving daily production targets while minimizing rejection, downtime, and material wastage.

Key Responsibilities

• **Moulding Operations:** Manage day\-to\-day injection moulding activities and ensure smooth operation of all moulding machines.
• **Machine Setting:** Handle machine start\-up, shutdown, mould mounting, mould changeovers, and setting of process parameters.
• **Process Control:** Set and monitor temperature, injection pressure, holding pressure, cooling time, and cycle time to maintain consistent production quality.
• **Production Planning:** Execute daily production plans and ensure timely completion of production targets.
• **Quality Control:** Identify and resolve moulding defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burning, and dimensional variations.
• **Manpower Management:** Allocate operators, machine operators, and helpers according to production requirements and monitor their performance.
• **Material Management:** Ensure proper handling and availability of plastic granules, masterbatch, and other raw materials; coordinate with Stores for material requirements.
• **Mould Maintenance:** Coordinate mould cleaning, preventive maintenance, mould changeovers, and troubleshooting with the Maintenance and Tool Room teams.
• **Rejection \& Wastage Control:** Monitor rejection rates, rework, material consumption, and machine downtime; implement corrective actions.
• **Safety \& Housekeeping:** Ensure adherence to safety procedures, 5S, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.
• **Production Documentation:** Maintain shift\-wise production reports, machine downtime records, rejection reports, and material consumption records.
• **Team Coordination:** Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning teams to ensure uninterrupted production.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, Polymer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Relevant hands\-on experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Experience Required

• 4–7 years of experience in plastic injection moulding.
• Previous experience handling multiple injection moulding machines and shop\-floor manpower.
• Practical knowledge of mould setting, machine parameter adjustment, defect troubleshooting, and production monitoring.

Technical Skills

• Injection moulding machine operation and process setting.
• Mould mounting, mould changeover, and trial handling.
• Knowledge of plastic materials such as PP, ABS, Nylon, POM, and other engineering plastics.
• Moulding defect identification and troubleshooting.
• Cycle time optimization and rejection reduction.
• Production reporting, shift handovers, and manpower allocation.
• Basic knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and preventive maintenance.

• Strong hands\-on technical knowledge of plastic injection moulding.
• Good leadership and shop\-floor coordination skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot process\-related issues independently.
• Disciplined, responsible, and target\-oriented.
• Willingness to work at the Gujarat plant and manage shifts as required.

Pay: ₹35,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
