Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled MySQL Database Administrator / Developer with 3\+ years of

experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and

optimizing MySQL databases, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability

of database systems supporting business\-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

 Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database environments.

 Monitor database performance and perform tuning and optimization.

 Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.

 Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.

 Troubleshoot database\-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

 Ensure database security, integrity, and availability.

 Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

 Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams for database\-related

requirements.

 Monitor database health and capacity planning.

 Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

 3\+ years of hands\-on experience with MySQL Database Administration/Development.

 Strong knowledge of SQL, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

 Experience with backup and recovery strategies.

 Knowledge of MySQL replication and high\-availability concepts.

 Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

 Understanding of database security and access management.

 Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

 Exposure to cloud environments and database monitoring tools.

 Knowledge of shell scripting or Python is an added advantage.
