.NET, SQL Developer\-Senior, Tax Technology Services

Deloitte Tax in India supports global tax and legal practices through integrated technology, tax, and business solutions. In this role, you will help design and deliver cloud\-native applications that support Deloitte Tax \& Legal Germany, with a focus on scalable .NET back\-end development and integration across enterprise systems. You will work in a collaborative environment that values quality, innovation, and practical problem\-solving to help clients navigate an increasingly complex tax landscape.

• *Work you'll do**

As a Senior, Tax Technology Services professional on the Tax Technology Services team, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining scalable .NET\-based back\-end solutions and supporting React\-based front\-end components, as needed
• Designing, building, and optimizing APIs, database solutions, and distributed application components
• Writing production\-level C\# .NET code and performing testing, debugging, and defect resolution to support reliability and performance
• Conducting code reviews and contributing to development standards, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement efforts
• Supporting secure, compliant, and efficient software delivery across cloud\-native applications and technology platforms

The Tax Technology Services team supports technology\-enabled solutions that help Deloitte’s tax and legal practices deliver quality, efficiency, and scale. The team works across application development, modernization, and platform support to enable business and client\-serving teams with reliable digital capabilities. Professionals in this group collaborate across disciplines to solve complex technology challenges in a fast\-paced environment.

• *Qualifications**

Required

• 7\+ years of experience in software development and/or data engineering
• 7\+ years of experience developing production\-level, scalable, and maintainable applications using C\# .NET
• Experience using .NET frameworks and libraries to build web applications and application programming interfaces
• Experience with React.js, including Redux and Hooks
• Experience with asynchronous programming, RESTful API design, and unit testing using NUnit, xUnit, or FluentAssertions
• Experience with microservices architecture and SQL databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
• Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Technology, or Master of Computer Applications in Computer Science

Preferred

• Experience with Generative Artificial Intelligence concepts or tools applied to software development
