• *Job Overview:**

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our network systems and providing support for network\-related issues.

• *Key Roles \& Responsibilities:**

• **Managing and leading \- All 6 network engineers at all 6 ports (Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Kandla, Haldia, Paradip)**
• **Network Design \& Implementation:** Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network designs meet organizational requirements for performance, scalability, and security.
• **Network Monitoring \& Maintenance:** Monitor network performance and availability using various tools. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to keep the network running smoothly.
• **Troubleshooting \& Support:** Diagnose and resolve network issues related to connectivity, performance, and security. Provide support to internal teams and end\-users for network\-related problems.
• **Security:** Implement and enforce network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• **Documentation:** Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and documentation. Document changes, incidents, and troubleshooting steps.
• **Collaboration:** Work closely with other IT teams to support network\-related projects and initiatives. Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
• **Optimization:** Identify and recommend improvements to enhance network performance, reliability, and efficiency. Implement best practices for network design and management.

• *Qualifications:**

• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• **Experience:** 2\-5 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, with a strong understanding of network technologies and protocols.
• **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software.

Experience with network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF).

Knowledge of network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).

• **Certifications:** Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network\+) needed
• **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail\-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• *Preferred Skills:**

• Experience with cloud networking solutions and technologies (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network).
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and best practices.
