We're Codebuddy, a young product engineering team in Kolkata. In 5 years, we've worked with 120\+ clients across industries, and we're just getting started. We want a backend developer who enjoys building systems that scale and don't break.

• *What You'll Do**

• Build and maintain clean, dependable backend applications, even under tight deadlines.
• Integrate third\-party APIs and payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal, securely.
• Design database structures and ER diagrams, and run POCs for new features.
• Test your API integrations and own the QA for your work.
• Debug issues and document the fixes so they don't come back.
• Write reusable code that makes the next feature faster to build.
• Join code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups.
• Keep tasks updated in Asana so the team stays aligned.
• Talk to clients about technical requirements, clearly and confidently.
• Help shape our best practices and support teammates as they grow.

• *What You'll Work With**

NestJS · MongoDB · Prisma · Jest · TypeScript · Docker · Git

You'll contribute to products like Theneo (AI\-powered API docs), PandaDoc (document creation and e\-signing), and IEE (credential evaluation).

• *What We're Looking For**

• CS or a related degree, and proven experience as a backend developer.
• Hands\-on experience with JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, Docker, and Git.
• A good grasp of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front\-end basics.
• Understanding of the full web development process, from design to deployment.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Someone who communicates clearly, explains their decisions, and works well with little supervision.
• A can\-do attitude, an eye for detail, and a sense of humor.
