Job Description

Kommuno is looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join our engineering team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills and hands\-on experience building scalable applications, integrating third\-party services, and managing production systems.

You’ll work on products involving CRM, billing and payments, cloud telephony, messaging, and AI\-powered communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third\-party services.
• Design, manage, and optimize MariaDB and MongoDB databases.
• Develop worker processes, queues, and background jobs.
• Manage Linux\-based production environments and troubleshoot issues.
• Handle AWS/cloud deployments, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Integrate telephony, CRM, WhatsApp, and payment gateway APIs.
• Maintain code quality, security, and reliability using structured Git workflows.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and REST APIs.
• Hands\-on experience with MariaDB and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with multiprocessing, worker processes, queues, and background jobs.
• Understanding of AWS/cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Good knowledge of Git and version control.
• Experience with Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, SIP, and telephony APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Razorpay or other payment gateway integrations.
• Zoho CRM, LeadSquared, MediaMart, or similar CRM platforms.
• Facebook Lead Ads and WhatsApp APIs.
• OpenLLM/LLM, STT, TTS, voice bots, or conversational AI.
